E-Bike Service, Repair, & Assembly

Owners of e-bikes tend to ride a lot more than non-e-bikers. With extra miles comes the need for more frequent service. It's like an oil change -- the more you ride the more often you need it changed. We have the knowledge and e-bike specific software and tooling to make sure that your bike is running its best.

Basic Tune

  • Full bike wash & lubrication
  • Shifting and braking adjustments with brake fluid replacement
  • Bearing adjustments
  • Lateral wheel truing
  • Firmware update & diagnostic
  • Test ride

E-bike Service

Your electric assist bike isn't like the bike you grew up with. Modern e-bikes have complex electronics that can be upgraded via firmware or assist in diagnosing potential issues. We have the tools, software, training, and expertise to work on the industry's top E-bike brands. Our staff offers full service options on E-bike brands and motor systems from the following manufacturers:

  • BionX
  • Bosch
  • Giant
  • Shimano
  • Specialized

We understand there are many different e-bike brands. While we are not trained on many of these systems, we can often provide mechanical service. We charge a non-refundable, prepaid $100 diagnostic fee for advanced services.

We DO NOT work on altered, chipped, or modified e-bikes.

E-la Carte Service Options

Great options for fixing individual needs and performing advanced cleanings. Some items can be done same day or while you wait.

  • Adjust Braking: From $15
  • Adjust Shifting: From $15
  • Tube & Tire Installation: From $25
  • Wheel Truing: From $40
  • Firmware Update: From $25
  • E-bike Assembly: From $175

Shop Labor: $100/hr

E-bike Service Guidelines

  • Appointments for e-bike service are highly encouraged.
  • Keys and charger to bike must be brought in at time of drop off.
  • Charge on battery must be less than 50%.
  • Storage fees will accumulate after 48 hours of completion - $10/day.
  • We DO NOT work on altered, chipped, or modified e-bikes.

E-bike Assembly

Assembly starting at $175

By appointment only

  • Includes assembly of all mechanical aspects of the bike and hookup of all electronics.
  • Fenders, baskets, and additional accessories installed at standard shop rates.
  • Does not include troubleshooting and resolution of faulty electronics or communication with e-bike manufacturers.

Partially assembled bikes will be treated as if it was not started (for your safety).

Storage fees will accumulate after 48 hours of completion - $10/day.

*We reserve the right to decline service on any bike for safety and/or quality reasons.
