1 - Comfort & Bike Fit - Just like clothing, bicycles come in different sizes. Our employees have experience fitting dozens of bicyclists and will aid you in choosing what size of bike fits you best. You wouldn't buy a car without driving it first... that's why we almost always insist on a test ride.

 

Comfort, not price, should be a bigger deciding factor when selecting a bike. The uncomfortable bike that was half off probably won't get ridden much.

 

2 - Product Knowledge - We sell bicycles, bicycle clothing, bicycle accessories, and swimwear. Our staff includes people who commute, race (or have raced), participate in triathlons, have swum competitively, or just like to go out and feel the breeze. We know and use our products. Tell that to the salesperson who just sold a fishing pole to the customer before you.

 

3 - Selection - While some shops might point in a catalog at your dream bike, there's a good chance Bike Tech might have it in stock. Our bicycle manufacturers produce dozens of difference models and styles and sizes. With so many options we can't stock every style and size. We carefully stock bicycle models, styles, and sizes so that we can give you an temporary experience that is close to the bike that is perfect for you. If we don't have it in stock, we'll special order it for you.

 

4 - Safety - Bicycles are not toys. Each bicycle we sell is professionally assembled, inspected, and tested by our experienced staff. We'll also make sure you understand all the features of your bicycle. We can also assist you in the selection and fit of a helmet.

 

5 - Clothing/Accessories - The proper clothing and accessories can help to make your next bike ride more enjoyable. We carry tons of high quality products that our staff uses when we go for a ride. Bike Tech also stocks clothing in several styles, sizes, and price points from a variety of manufacturers. If you are a new bike owner or a seasoned rider, we have something that can make your next ride even more fun.

 

6 - After the Sale - Our staff is always here to help you. We offer free 30 day checks and a complimentary 1 year tune-up with the sale of every new bike. Most of the bikes and products we sell also come with various warranties. If you have have any addition questions about a new or existing purchase don't hesitate to ask.

 

7 - Warranty - We are here to make it right. Bike Tech handles most warranty issues in-house with our expert staff and experienced mechanics. We will make the neccessary adjustments or contact the manufacturer to get you back on your bike fast.

 

8 - Community - Bike Tech is LOCALLY OWNED. We support local advocacy, sponsor local events, know about local trails, and are up to date on local happenings. Be sure to say "Hello" next time you see us on the trail.
